From these companies, they manufacture and supply waterstop systems and specialized jointing materials into the markets of Asia, Australia, Middle East, and Africa. Paul currently lives in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and has been living there for 28 years.

Peter began his career in construction with Lend Lease in 1987, completing his Clerk of Works Certificate in 1991 and earning an unrestricted Builder’s Licence. In 1993, he transitioned to the construction chemicals sector with WR Grace, later joining Master Builders Technologies (which evolved through Degussa and BASF). Over more than 23 years, Peter gained extensive experience in technical sales, customer service, and project support, contributing to major Australian infrastructure projects from design to completion. Since 2018, Peter has been Director at EpiMax, bringing nearly three decades of expertise in construction chemical products and their applications. He is deeply committed to customer-focused business, believing that helping clients succeed drives long-term success.

Ian trained as a Civil Engineer and has worked at Metz since 1994. He is the Groups long term CEO and co-owner with his brother Stuart. Metz has multiple divisions – best known today for technical ceramic tiles, we also have a long term focus on materials to resists corrosion and abrasion in industry. Due to client demand Metz established an installation capability from our establishment in 1953. More recently we have created a façade materials division featuring both ceramic and photovoltaic materials. Ian’s particular focus at Metz is the specialised building materials manufactured in our Melbourne Quality Accredited production facility.

Returning to Australia, Paul applied his analytical expertise in newspaper publishing and earned the University Medal from the University of the Sunshine Coast.
